Job Title: Career Peer Advisor – Business, Consulting, and Finance

Company: Oberlin College & Conservatory

Location: Oberlin, OH

Pay: $12 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $12 for a “Career Peer Advisor – Business, Consulting, and Finance” position in Oberlin, OH appears to be below the competitive range for similar roles. Typically, entry-level career advisors or peer mentors in business-related fields can expect compensation between $15 to $20 per hour, depending on the region and the specific responsibilities of the role. While Oberlin is a smaller town and may have a lower cost of living than larger metropolitan areas, the standard for roles involving career advising usually aligns more closely with the aforementioned figures. Therefore, the offered rate may not attract the most qualified candidates and does not fully align with the industry standards for such positions.
