Job Title: Caregiver 2nd Shift

Company: Oakleigh of Macomb

Location: Mount Clemens, MI

Pay: $16.5 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16.50 for a “Caregiver 2nd Shift” role in Mount Clemens, MI, is generally considered to be on the lower end of the compensation spectrum for this occupation. While caregiver wages can vary widely based on experience, certifications, and specific job responsibilities, the average hourly wage for caregivers in Michigan typically ranges from $12 to $18 per hour, with some positions offering even more, especially for specialized care or during high-demand shifts. Thus, while $16.50 is competitive in some contexts, it may not fully reflect the responsibilities or living costs associated with caregiving in the area, especially for a position requiring evening or weekend availability. Overall, it’s advisable for potential candidates to consider other local opportunities that might offer higher compensation or additional benefits.
