Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver 3rd Shift
Company: Oakleigh of Macomb
Location: Macomb, MI
Pay: $16.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16.50 for a “Caregiver 3rd Shift” position in Macomb, MI, is somewhat below average compared to national standards for similar roles. According to various wage surveys, caregiver positions typically range from $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, the specific duties required, and regional cost of living adjustments. In Michigan, wages can vary widely based on local demand and the type of care provided, but $16.50 is on the lower end, particularly for night shifts which often command a premium. Therefore, while it may be competitive for entry-level positions, it is likely not fully aligned with industry standards for more experienced caregivers or those with specialized skills in the area.
