Responsibilities
- Delivering a range of personal care services tailored to meet the specific needs of clients or patients
- Assisting with daily activities, which may include feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to medical appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
- Supporting clients with active and passive mobility exercises outlined in their care plans while accurately documenting any changes to the Director of Nursing
Requirements
- A minimum of one (1) year of verified experience as a caregiver or home care assistant is required
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification in CPR and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Valid driver’s license with access to an insured and reliable vehicle, along with proof of insurance
- Physical capability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, with varied assistance required based on the client’s mobility. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
