Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of personal care services tailored to meet the individual needs of clients or patients
- Assist with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to medical appointments, engaging in outdoor activities, and assisting with shopping
- Support clients with active and passive mobility as outlined in their care plans, and document any observed changes to the Director of Nursing
Requirements:
- A minimum of one (1) year of documented experience as a caregiver or in home care assistance is required
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified CPR and a negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
- A valid driver’s license with a reliable insured vehicle and proof of insurance
- The ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance may be needed based on the client’s mobility, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
