Job Title: Caregiver Burton Ohio Flexible Schedule

Company: Home Instead Senior Care

Location: Moreland Hills, OH

Pay: $16 – 19 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 to $19 for a “Caregiver” position in Moreland Hills, OH, is within the typical range for similar roles in the region but may be considered on the lower end, especially for caregivers providing specialized or complex care. According to various salary data sources, the average hourly wage for caregivers in Ohio generally hovers around $15 to $22, depending on factors like experience, certifications, and the specific demands of the job. While the flexibility in scheduling may attract candidates, offering a competitive pay rate, particularly for more experienced caregivers or those in high-demand areas, could enhance the appeal of the position. Overall, while the pay is not out of touch with the market, raising it closer to the higher end of the scale may better align with industry standards and attract a more qualified workforce.

Job description:

Join our award-winning company, recognized as the #1 Home Care Provider in the industry, and embark on a fulfilling healthcare career as a caregiver with ample opportunities for growth and advancement.

No prior experience? No problem! As we celebrate our 25th year, we continue to lead the local home care market and are experiencing rapid growth. Allow us to facilitate your journey toward a professional healthcare career, complete with comprehensive training, robust benefits, and a tuition reimbursement program.

At Home Instead, we provide a thorough onboarding experience that includes extensive hands-on training, ensuring our caregivers are well-equipped, confident, and ready to deliver exceptional care.

Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with the added benefit of a supportive work environment that includes 24/7 assistance. We offer both full-time and part-time caregiving positions with flexible scheduling options that accommodate your availability.

Introduction
Home Instead is the leading provider of home care in Lake and Geauga Counties, boasting an exemplary 5-star review on Caring.com due to our commitment to personalized care. We are proud to be the only Home Care company in Ohio to maintain a 5-star rating and to receive the Caring Star Award for eight consecutive years, reflecting our dedication to both our seniors and caregivers. Our caregivers are truly the heart of our organization.

Our Culture
At Home Instead, you will be more than just a caregiver; you will be a Care Professional (CarePro). We honor and respect every CarePro for their unique contributions. Our robust training program prepares you for your assignments, while our recognition initiatives ensure you receive credit for your valuable contributions. We offer competitive pay and benefits to support you and your family.

Typical Shift
Your responsibilities will involve traveling to the homes of assigned clients. Given that client needs can vary, we match Care Professionals’ skills with those needs. This may include light housekeeping, companionship, transportation for outings or medical appointments, assistance with personal care, medication reminders, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) or Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). Please note that skilled nursing tasks, such as administering medications and wound care, are not within the caregiver’s scope of responsibility, and you will never be sent to a client’s home alone for the first visit. An assigned senior care manager will accompany you to introduce you to the client you will be assisting. We provide around-the-clock support for our caregivers and repeatedly receive feedback indicating our employees feel a higher level of support than ever before.
