Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver
Company: Companion Care Home Care – OH
Location: Youngstown, OH
Pay: $12 – 15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $12 to $15 for a caregiver position in Youngstown, OH, is relatively competitive but may be on the lower end of the scale when compared to national averages. According to data prior to October 2023, caregiver wages can vary widely based on experience, certifications, and specific job responsibilities, with national averages generally ranging from $13 to $20 per hour. In Ohio, the median wage often aligns closely with these averages, though smaller cities like Youngstown might reflect slightly lower pay due to local market conditions. Therefore, while this rate can attract candidates, it may face challenges competing with higher offers from neighboring regions or facilities that provide enhanced benefits or higher pay.
