Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance to elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by addressing their fundamental needs, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist them with mobility.
- Support clients’ movement throughout the home and during external outings (e.g., doctor’s appointments, walks).
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, meal planning and preparation, and physical therapy exercises.
- Complete shopping tasks for clients or accompany them to ensure successful outings.
- Maintain housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents.
- Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Facilitate essential daily activities, including meal assistance and serving.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and possess a strong desire to enhance your skills continually.
- Capability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation are required.
- A demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and supportive care.
- Availability for various shifts, including nights and weekends.
