Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. In this vital role, you will significantly impact the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, facilitating small group activities and crafts, attending to hygiene needs, administering medications, leading community outings, and providing opportunities for volunteer involvement, all while helping individuals Live Life to the Fullest.

Responsibilities

  • Transport individuals to our centers and community outings
  • Lead small group and skill-building activities
  • Document progress towards goals and individual achievements
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Administer medications as required
  • Perform light cleaning activities

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
  • Familiarity with basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with creativity and enthusiasm
  • Capability to lift up to fifty pounds
