Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. In this vital role, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by improving their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, facilitating small group activities and crafts, addressing personal hygiene needs, administering medication, leading community outings, and promoting an engaged and fulfilling lifestyle for our clients.
Responsibilities
– Transport individuals to and from our centers as well as community outings
– Lead small group and skill-building activities
– Document progress towards individual goals
– Provide companionship and emotional support
– Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation
– Support medication administration
– Perform light cleaning and housekeeping duties
Qualifications
– Prior experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred
– Certification in First Aid and CPR
– Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking skills
– Ability to adhere to health and safety protocols
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a creative and enthusiastic attitude
– Capability to lift up to fifty pounds
