We are seeking dependable caregivers in the Bloomfield Hills community who will provide personal, companion care and daily assistance to the elderly, as well as individuals in need of recuperative or ongoing care.

Responsibilities related to Personal Care (varying by client):

– Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
– Providing support with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
– Monitoring mobility and ensuring safety
– Performing light housekeeping duties
– Preparing meals and managing nutritional needs
– Adhering to the individualized plan of care
– Communicating professionally with families and team members

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Client Location:
Bloomfield Hills, with a preference for caregivers residing near the clients.

Summary:
As a Caregiver for the Elderly, you will deliver compassionate and individualized care to seniors, ensuring their comfort and overall well-being. You will report directly to the Care Manager and leverage your expertise in long-term and personal care to assist residents with their daily activities while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications:

– Demonstrated experience in long-term care and home/community care settings
– Proficient personal care skills, particularly with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
– Understanding of first aid and emergency response protocols
– Background in assisted living and memory care environments
– Knowledge of residents’ rights and ability to monitor vital signs
– Capacity to work effectively with seniors, including those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer’s disease
– Competence in meal preparation and maintaining a clean living space
