We are seeking dedicated and reliable caregivers in the Commerce Township, Milford, White Lake, and South Lyon areas to provide personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance to seniors and individuals in need of recuperative or ongoing care.

Personal Care Responsibilities (vary by client):

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including showering, grooming, and dressing
  • Monitor mobility and facilitate safe movement
  • Maintain cleanliness through housekeeping duties
  • Prepare nutritious meals and manage clean-up
  • Adhere to individualized care plans
  • Communicate professionally with families and team members

Other Duties as Assigned

Client Locations:

  • Commerce Township, Milford, White Lake, South Lyon areas
  • Preference will be given to caregivers located near clients.

Summary:
As a Caregiver for the Elderly, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to seniors, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Reporting directly to the Care Manager, you will leverage your skills in long-term care and personal assistance to support residents in their daily activities and help maintain a safe and nurturing living environment.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in long-term and community care
  • Strong skills in personal care, including assistance with ADLs
  • Knowledge of first aid and emergency response protocols
  • Experience in assisted living and memory care settings
  • Understanding of residents’ rights and vital signs monitoring
  • Ability to effectively engage with seniors, including those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer’s disease
  • Competence in meal preparation and maintaining a tidy living environment
