Responsibilities (varies by client):

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as showering, grooming, and dressing
  • Monitor client mobility and safety
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and tidying
  • Prepare meals, manage nutrition, and handle clean-up
  • Adhere to the individualized plan of care
  • Communicate professionally with clients’ families and your care team
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned

  • Preference for caregivers located close to clients

Summary:
As a Caregiver for the Elderly, you will offer compassionate and individualized care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of seniors. Reporting directly to the Care Manager, you will apply your expertise in long-term care and personal assistance to help residents with daily tasks while fostering a safe living environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in long-term care and home/community care settings
  • Strong personal care skills, including assistance with ADLs
  • Familiarity with first aid and emergency response protocols
  • Experience in assisted living and memory care environments
  • Knowledge of residents’ rights and capabilities in vital signs monitoring
  • Ability to work effectively with seniors, particularly those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer’s disease
  • Competence in meal preparation and maintaining a clean living space

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 38 hours per week

Schedule:

  • 4-hour shifts
  • Day shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Morning shifts
  • Weekend availability as needed
