We are seeking dependable caregivers in the Chelsea, Dexter, and Saline communities to deliver personal and companion care, as well as daily living assistance to the elderly and individuals in need of recuperative or ongoing care.
Personal Care Responsibilities (may vary by client):
– Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and showering
– Monitor mobility and provide dressing assistance
– Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning
– Prepare meals, ensure nutritional needs are met, and manage cleanup
– Adhere to the established plan of care
– Communicate professionally with families and team members
Additional Duties as Assigned
Client Locations:
The preferred caregivers will reside close to the clients in Dexter, Chelsea, Saline, or Ann Arbor.
Summary:
As a Caregiver for the Elderly, you will provide compassionate and personalized support to seniors, prioritizing their comfort and well-being. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will leverage your expertise in long-term care and personal assistance to aid residents in their daily activities and maintain a safe living environment.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in long-term care and home/community care
– Strong personal care skills, particularly in assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
– Familiarity with first aid and emergency response protocols
– Experience within assisted living and memory care settings
– Understanding of residents’ rights and vital signs monitoring
– Ability to effectively work with seniors, including those living with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer’s disease
– Competence in meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment
