Job description:

Home Instead seeks dedicated and compassionate individuals, referred to as ‘Care Professionals’, to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the world’s capacity to care. We offer a range of non-medical services designed to help aging adults remain in the comfort of their own homes while addressing the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with meal preparation
  • Offer reminders for medication and upcoming appointments
  • Assist clients with grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence issues
  • Provide specialized care for clients living with Alzheimer’s

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Access to reliable transportation and punctuality for assigned shifts
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clients in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner
