At Home Instead in Clawson, you will take on the significant role of a Care Professional (Care Pro), going beyond traditional caregiving to provide exceptional support.

We are seeking both part-time and full-time Care Professionals to join our dedicated team, with availability during weekdays and weekends. Recognizing the value of your time, Home Instead mandates that all shifts be a minimum of four hours long. We also implement block scheduling to establish consistent and dependable work hours for our Care Pros.

Responsibilities
Your role will commence with travel to the home of your assigned client. Due to the diverse needs of our clients, we strategically match each Care Professional’s skills with those needs. Responsibilities may include light housekeeping, providing companionship, assisting with outings, accompanying clients to medical appointments, aiding with showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral care, escorting, transferring, and any other activities of daily living (ADLs) or instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) required by the client. Please note that skilled nursing tasks such as medication administration, injections, wound care, or therapy are not within the scope of this role. You will collaborate closely with our Registered Nurse to ensure the highest quality of care for the seniors in our community.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Flexibility to work within our block scheduling framework

  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients
  • Reliable transportation, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
