Typical Shift
Your day will involve traveling to the home of your assigned client, with tasks that may include light housekeeping, companionship, transportation to appointments, personal care, medication reminders, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) as needed. Skilled nursing tasks such as medication administration or wound care are not required. You will never be tasked to visit a client’s home alone for the first time; your designated senior care manager will accompany you to support and introduce you to the client.
