In Clawson, you will serve not merely as a Caregiver, but as a Care Professional (Care Pro).
We are seeking both part-time and full-time Care Pros to join our dedicated team, with openings for weekday and weekend shifts. At Home Instead, we value your time deeply, thus we require all shifts to be a minimum of four hours in duration. To promote consistency and reliability, we implement block scheduling for our Care Pros.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will commence with travel to the residence of your assigned client. Given the diverse needs of our clients, we strategically match Care Professionals’ skills with those needs. Tasks may include light housekeeping, companionship, transportation to outings and medical appointments, assisting with showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral care, escorting, transferring, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADL) or Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) tailored to individual client requirements. Please note that skilled nursing tasks such as administering medications, injections, wound care, or therapy are not part of your role. You will collaborate with our Registered Nurse to ensure the highest standard of care for seniors in our community.

- Effective communication skills with clients
