As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
– Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
– Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks.
– Adhering to safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
– Monitoring and assessing changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating these to the supervisor.
– Administering medications and injections to residents per their medical charts.
– Following established schedules to assist residents with repositioning.
– Complying with documentation procedures for medications.
– Exercising sound judgment in client care and safety.
– Collaborating with team members to support their duties.
– Completing all required documentation and charting accurately.
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
– Assisting with meal service and encouraging resident participation in eating.
– Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements for this position include:
