Job Title: Caregiver

Company: Homestead

Location: Shelby Township, MI

Pay: $15 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $15 for a caregiver in Shelby Township, MI, is generally below the national average for this role. As of 2023, caregivers in many parts of the U.S. typically earn between $12 to $18 per hour, with higher wages often seen in urban areas or for positions requiring specialized skills. In Michigan, the average caregiver wage is closer to $16-18 per hour, often increasing with experience or certifications. While $15 may attract some applicants, it may not be competitive enough to secure skilled caregivers in a tight labor market, especially considering the rising cost of living and the demand for quality care services. Thus, to effectively attract and retain qualified staff, increasing the hourly rate may be advisable.
