As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

– Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
– Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks.
– Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
– Monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly communicating with supervisors.
– Administering medications and injections to residents as per medical charts.
– Following scheduled routines to assist residents with repositioning.
– Documenting medication administration in accordance with established procedures.
– Exercising sound judgment in providing care and ensuring resident safety.
– Collaborating with team members to support their responsibilities.
– Completing all required documentation and charting accurately.
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
– Assisting with meal trays and providing help during mealtimes.
– Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

– Ability to pass a criminal background check.
– High school diploma or GED.
– Reliable transportation.
– Availability to work every other weekend is required.
