As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping tasks
  • Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating with supervisors
  • Administering medications and injections in accordance with medical charts
  • Adhering to schedules for assisting residents with repositioning
  • Documenting medication administration as per procedures
  • Exercising sound judgment in providing client care and ensuring safety
  • Supporting fellow team members with their duties
  • Completing all required documentation and charting
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs
  • Assisting with meal tray service and aiding residents during meals
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability to work every other weekend
