Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver
Company: Homestead
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $15 for a caregiver position in Sterling Heights, MI, is generally considered below the industry standard. Caregiver wages can vary based on experience, certifications, and specific duties, but the average hourly pay typically ranges from $16 to $22 per hour in Michigan, with some agencies offering higher rates for specialized care or experienced professionals. Given the rising cost of living and demand for caregiving services, $15 may struggle to attract and retain qualified candidates in this competitive job market. Therefore, while this rate may be viable for entry-level positions, it may not adequately align with expectations for more experienced caregivers.
