As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transfers in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
- Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
- Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
- Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating observations to supervisors.
- Administering medications and injections in accordance with medical guidelines.
- Following established schedules to assist residents with positioning.
- Documenting medication administration according to procedures.
- Exercising sound judgment in ensuring client care and safety.
- Assisting fellow team members with their responsibilities.
- Completing all necessary documentation and charting.
- Responding to call lights and addressing residents’ needs.
- Assisting with meal service and dining support.
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
