As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transfers in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating observations to supervisors.
  • Administering medications and injections in accordance with medical guidelines.
  • Following established schedules to assist residents with positioning.
  • Documenting medication administration according to procedures.
  • Exercising sound judgment in ensuring client care and safety.
  • Assisting fellow team members with their responsibilities.
  • Completing all necessary documentation and charting.
  • Responding to call lights and addressing residents’ needs.
  • Assisting with meal service and dining support.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
