As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping.
  • Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating concerns to a supervisor.
  • Administering medications and injections to residents according to medical charts.
  • Following a schedule to assist residents with repositioning.
  • Adhering to procedures for documenting medications accurately.
  • Utilizing sound judgment in providing care and ensuring safety.
  • Assisting fellow team members with their responsibilities.
  • Completing required documentation and charting.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
  • Obtaining meal trays and providing assistance with eating.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
