As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping.
- Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
- Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating concerns to a supervisor.
- Administering medications and injections to residents according to medical charts.
- Following a schedule to assist residents with repositioning.
- Adhering to procedures for documenting medications accurately.
- Utilizing sound judgment in providing care and ensuring safety.
- Assisting fellow team members with their responsibilities.
- Completing required documentation and charting.
- Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
- Obtaining meal trays and providing assistance with eating.
- Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
