We currently have midnight shifts available from 10 PM to 6 AM. At Homestead, we believe in fostering professional growth; all new hires will start as caregivers, with the potential for training to become a Med Tech.

As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the environment, which may include light housekeeping.
  • Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly communicating with your supervisor.
  • Administering medications and injections to residents as per medical charts.
  • Following schedules to assist residents with repositioning.
  • Documenting medications in accordance with established procedures.
  • Exercising good judgment in providing client care and ensuring safety.
  • Collaborating with fellow team members to complete their duties.
  • Completing all required documentation and charting.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
  • Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with eating.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
