We are currently offering midnight shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM. There is ample room for growth, as we begin all caregivers in this role, with the potential for training to become a Medication Technician.

As a caregiver at Homestead, your responsibilities will include:
– Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
– Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping tasks
– Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
– Assessing residents for changes in condition and communicating findings immediately to your supervisor
– Administering medications and injections to residents as prescribed in medical charts
– Following a schedule to assist residents with repositioning
– Adhering to procedures for documenting medication administration
– Exercising sound judgment in providing client care and ensuring safety
– Supporting fellow team members in their duties
– Completing all required documentation and charting
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs
– Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with dining
– Performing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:
– Ability to pass a criminal background check
– High school diploma or GED
– Reliable transportation
– Availability to work every other weekend
