We are currently seeking dedicated caregivers to join our senior living community located in Westland, MI. We currently have midnight shifts available from 10 PM to 6 AM. Employees begin their journey as caregivers, with opportunities for advancement to Med Tech positions through additional training.

As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

– Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
– Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping duties.
– Adhering to all health and safety standards, including infection control protocols.
– Monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly reporting any concerns to your supervisor.
– Administering medications and injections to residents as indicated in their medical charts.
– Following scheduled routines, assisting residents with repositioning as needed.
– Documenting medication administration accurately in accordance with established procedures.
– Exercising sound judgment to ensure client care and safety.
– Supporting team members with their responsibilities as needed.
– Completing all required documentation and charting.
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ immediate needs.
– Assisting with meal tray retrieval and providing support during mealtimes.
– Performing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

– Ability to pass a criminal background check.
– High school diploma or GED.
– Reliable transportation.
– Availability to work every other weekend.
