We currently have openings for nighttime shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM. Our caregivers begin their journey with us and have the opportunity to advance to roles such as Med Tech through comprehensive training.
Key responsibilities of a caregiver include:
– Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
– Maintaining a clean and safe environment, which may involve light housekeeping.
– Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
– Monitoring and assessing changes in residents’ conditions and communicating promptly with supervisors.
– Administering medications and injections to residents as dictated by medical charts.
– Following schedules to assist residents with repositioning and care.
– Documenting medication administration and any changes in resident conditions appropriately.
– Exercising sound judgment in providing safe and effective client care.
– Collaborating and assisting fellow team members with their duties.
– Completing all necessary documentation and charting.
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
– Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents during mealtimes.
– Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements for the position include:
– Successfully passing a criminal background check.
– A high school diploma or GED.
– Reliable transportation.
– Availability to work every other weekend.
