Key Responsibilities of Caregivers (Care Pros):

  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and prepare meals.
  • Offer medication reminders and assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Aid clients with grooming and bathing tasks.
  • Assist with toileting and manage incontinence concerns.
  • Offer specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and related conditions.

No prior experience is required for the Caregiver (Care Pro) position, as skills training will be provided by Home Instead.

Qualifications for Caregivers (Care Pros):

  • Demonstrate the ability to treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Communicate effectively and congenially with clients.
  • Successfully complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain valid automobile insurance.
