As a caregiver at Home Instead, you will be elevated to the role of Care Professional (CarePro). We recognize and honor the unique contributions of each CarePro and provide comprehensive training to prepare you for your responsibilities. Typical responsibilities include traveling to the homes of assigned clients, and as client needs vary, we strategically match your skills with their requirements. Tasks may include light housekeeping, providing companionship, facilitating outings, accompanying clients to medical appointments, assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, medication reminders, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL). Importantly, skilled nursing tasks such as administering medications, injections, wound care, or therapy will not be required of you. A senior care manager will accompany you on your first visit to each client to provide support and facilitate introductions, ensuring you never go alone for your initial assignment.
