Job Title: Caregiver/STNA In-training

Company: The Oaks at Jamestown

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $14.41 – 16.96 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14.41 to $16.96 for the “Caregiver/STNA In-training” role in Grand Rapids, MI, appears to be somewhat competitive but on the lower end compared to the broader industry standards. As of 2023, caregiver wages in Michigan typically range from approximately $14 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and the specific type of care provided. This range suggests that while entry-level in-training roles may start closer to the lower end of the scale, those with more experience or specialized skills can earn significantly more. Given the rising demand for caregivers and ongoing labor shortages in the healthcare sector, wages may be expected to rise, indicating that this pay rate could be viewed as less attractive for potential candidates seeking more competitive compensation.
