Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver/STNA In-training
Company: The Oaks at Jamestown
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $14.41 – 16.96 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14.41 to $16.96 for the role of “Caregiver/STNA In-training” in Grand Rapids, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the pay scale compared to industry standards. According to various labor market analyses, caregivers and nursing assistants typically earn between $15 to $20 per hour in Michigan, with higher rates depending on experience and specific certifications. Given the rising cost of living and the growing demand for healthcare workers, particularly in caregiving roles, this wage range may not be competitive enough to attract and retain qualified candidates in the area. Therefore, employers may need to consider adjusting their pay scales or offering additional benefits to remain appealing in the job market.
