Job Title: Caregiver/STNA In-training

Company: The Oaks at Jamestown

Pay: $14.41 – 16.96 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14.41 to $16.96 for the “Caregiver/STNA In-training” role in Shelbyville, MI, is relatively competitive within the context of the caregiving sector. As of late 2023, entry-level caregiving positions typically offer wages between $12 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and specific job responsibilities. In Michigan, the state’s average wage for similar roles tends to hover around the lower to mid-teens; therefore, this rate aligns well with local standards, though it may be slightly lower than some higher-paying areas within the state. Overall, this compensation is on the lower end of the spectrum but can be considered reasonable for entry-level positions, especially for candidates in training.
