Job description:

Responsibilities
Provide personal hygiene assistance to elderly patients or individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by addressing their fundamental needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Remind clients to take their prescribed medications and assist them with ambulation.
Facilitate mobility both within the home and outside, including transportation to doctor’s appointments and accompanying clients on walks.
Assist with personal care and hygiene, meal planning and preparation, as well as support with physical therapy exercises.
Conduct shopping for clients or accompany them to ensure successful completion of their purchases.
Perform housekeeping duties and promptly report any unusual incidents.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations.
Provide essential activities of daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other necessary tasks.

Qualifications
Demonstrate a genuine enjoyment of working in a one-on-one setting, with a strong desire to improve and learn new skills continuously.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation on a daily basis.
Exhibit a validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Willingness to uphold health and safety standards.
Display a supportive and empathetic demeanor.
Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, ideally with experience as a caregiver.
Take pride in delivering high-quality care.
