Job Description
Job Title: Caregivers for Senior Living Community
Company: Homestead
Location: Allen Park, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $15 for caregivers in a senior living community in Allen Park, MI, is considered below the competitive standard. Nationally, caregiver wages typically range from $12 to $20 per hour, with variations based on experience, responsibilities, and regional cost of living factors. In Michigan, the median wage for similar roles tends to be higher, reflecting increased demand and a growing focus on quality care in senior services. Therefore, while $15 may meet minimum wage requirements, it may not attract or retain qualified personnel in this field, suggesting that increasing compensation could help align with industry standards and enhance workforce stability.
