Job Description
Job Title: Caregivers for Senior Living Community
Company: Homestead
Location: Taylor, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 for caregivers in a senior living community in Taylor, MI, is somewhat below the typical range for this role, especially when considering the rising cost of living and demand for healthcare workers in the state. As of 2023, caregiver wages in Michigan generally range from $12 to $20 per hour, with the higher end often reserved for those with more experience or specialized training. While entry-level positions may start around $13 to $15, more experienced caregivers can earn upwards of $18 or more per hour. Therefore, while $15 isn’t the lowest rate, it may be less competitive in attracting qualified candidates, particularly given the current labor market dynamics emphasizing fair compensation for caregiving roles.
