Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, handling transactions with care, preparing fresh food and beverages, and fostering community connections that transform casual shoppers into loyal patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extend a warm greeting and express gratitude to every customer, enhancing their shopping experience at Johnny’s.
  • Address customer requests and concerns attentively, and relay pertinent information to the management team.
  • Efficiently operate the cash register while ensuring accurate transactions and providing the correct change.
  • Verify customer identification for the purchase of alcohol or tobacco in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Prepare Johnny’s signature coffee and food offerings according to established recipes and guidelines to guarantee delicious results.
  • Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed throughout your shift to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as necessary to ensure a clean and inviting store environment.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Proficient in cash handling, with the ability to accurately count cash and make change.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, grasp, and operate buttons, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently carry items up to 15 lbs.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting operating manuals, instructions, and procedural documents.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
