Job Description
Job Title: CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Galloway, OH – New Jersey
Pay: $15.13 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $15.13 for a cashier/food service worker in Galloway, OH, appears to be competitive but slightly below the national average for similar roles, which typically ranges from $15 to $18 per hour depending on experience, specific duties, and local cost of living. In Ohio, the minimum wage is lower than in many states, and while $15.13 is above this threshold, it may not fully reflect the responsibilities that can be associated with a full-time or part-time position in food service. To gauge competitiveness accurately, it’s essential to consider local wage trends, benefits offered, and progression potential within the role. Overall, while the rate is acceptable, it may not be deemed highly attractive for attracting talent in a competitive labor market, especially if the cost of living or alternative job opportunities in the area are significant.
