Job Description
Job Title: CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Cleveland, OH
Pay: $16.85 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16.85 for a cashier role in Cleveland, OH, is somewhat competitive when considering the general wage trends in the retail sector. According to various salary aggregation websites, the average hourly wage for cashiers in Cleveland typically ranges from $14 to $18, depending on factors such as experience, location, and the employer’s size. While $16.85 is at the higher end of the spectrum, it may not be sufficient to attract candidates in regions with a higher cost of living or in markets where the minimum wage has increased. Additionally, considering recent trends toward higher wages and benefits in retail, this rate might be less attractive compared to similar roles that offer additional perks or flexible schedules. Overall, while competitive, this rate would benefit from additional incentives to enhance its attractiveness in the current labor market.
