Job description:
We are seeking to fill a part-time Cashier position immediately.

The location for this role is Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital, located at 16001 West 9 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48075. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Perform sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
– Input all sales into the cash register to ensure precise recording of purchases.
– Handle cash transactions, including making change and accepting various forms of payment while issuing receipts to customers.
– Adhere to established procedures for processing cash refunds.
– Engage with customers to address and resolve complaints in a positive, service-oriented manner.
– Manage assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with cash drawer standards.
– Observe and distinguish customer purchases, ensuring proper portion sizes are served.
– Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies, while maintaining cleanliness in service areas.
– Keep the pastry case fully stocked.
– Ensure adherence to company service standards, as well as inventory and cash control protocols.
– Comply with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.
