Job Description
Job Title: CASHIER (PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Saginaw, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $15 for a part-time cashier position in Saginaw, MI, is generally competitive but slightly below the average pay for similar roles in the region. As of 2023, wages for cashiers in Michigan typically range from $13 to $18 per hour, depending on experience and the specific employer. While $15 aligns with the lower end of this spectrum and is above the state minimum wage, which is $11.25, it may not attract candidates seeking higher compensation, given rising living costs and inflation. Overall, while the rate is acceptable for entry-level positions, it may be less appealing compared to offerings from larger retailers or businesses that can provide higher wages or additional benefits.
