Job description:

We are currently seeking motivated individuals for part-time Cashier positions, available immediately.

Located at UC West Chester – 7700 University Drive, West Chester, OH 45069. Please note that applications will be accepted online exclusively.

This position offers a part-time schedule that includes alternating Fridays, Mondays, and rotating weekends. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

While prior cashier experience is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.

The pay rate for this position is $15.12 per hour.

Job Summary:
In this role, you will perform cashiering duties including processing cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, providing change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. You may also engage in general food service work, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute sales transactions efficiently.
• Accurately record all sales in the cash register.
• Process payments, including making change and accepting acceptable forms of payment; issue receipts to customers.
• Adhere to established procedures for processing cash refunds.
• Interact with customers and address complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Manage assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with cash handling standards.
• Observe customer purchases to ensure correct portioning.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness in service areas.
• Keep the pastry case stocked.
• Comply with company service standards and cash control procedures.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety requirements, including ServSafe standards.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
