Job description:
We are seeking candidates for an immediate opening for a part-time Cashier position at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, located at 3188 Bellevue Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219. Please note that applications will be accepted online only.

The part-time schedule includes shifts from Monday through Friday, with alternating weekends and holidays; specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Candidates must possess at least one year of prior experience in cashiering and customer service to qualify for this role.

As a Cashier, your primary responsibilities will include performing sales transactions efficiently, entering all sales into the cash register to ensure accurate record-keeping, processing payments, and issuing receipts. Additionally, you will engage with customers to address inquiries and resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with cash control procedures, observing purchases for portion control, replenishing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness in service areas. Adherence to sanitation and safety requirements, including ServSafe protocols, is mandatory.
