Job Description
Job Title: Cashier (Restaurant)
Company: Kewadin Casinos
Location: Saint Ignace, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $15 for a “Cashier (Restaurant)” in Saint Ignace, MI, appears to be slightly below average when compared to broader industry standards. As of 2023, cashiers in the restaurant sector across the United States typically earn between $12 and $18 per hour, with variations depending on location, experience, and the specific establishment. In Michigan, the average wage for restaurant cashiers tends to align closer to $13 to $17 per hour. Therefore, while $15 is within the general range, it may not be particularly competitive, especially in light of rising living costs and minimum wage increases, which could make attracting qualified candidates more challenging for employers offering this rate.
