SodexoMagic is seeking a Catering Manager 4 to join our team at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves managing the catering services for the entire campus, catering to a diverse range of events. As a senior-level Catering Manager, you will oversee all catering operations, develop innovative event concepts, build partnerships, and manage the comprehensive catering program. Sodexo is committed to enhancing the well-being of college students and creating a healthy learning environment through our food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions.

This position is part of the SodexoMagic portfolio, a joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. What You’ll Do
Is this opportunity right for you? As the Catering Manager, you will:
– Review all catering event orders and weekly catering sheets to ensure accuracy.
– Organize events, facilitate timely setups, and ensure that staff deliver consistently superior service.
– Conduct regular event walk-throughs to assess service quality and customer satisfaction.
– Provide ongoing training in proper service techniques, customer service, and organizational skills.
– Lead pre-shift meetings to ensure operational efficiency and promote continuous safety training.

Qualifications & Requirements
