As the Catering Sales Coordinator, you will act as the primary point of contact for catering sales across multiple Potbelly Shops in the Columbus, Ohio vicinity. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership
– Collaborate with Shop Managers to establish sales goals and strategies.
– Coordinate delivery drivers and backline associates during peak periods.
– Proactively prospect, solicit, qualify, and secure catering business.
– Accurately generate and review all catering contracts.
– Serve as the liaison between customers and the restaurant to ensure successful catering orders and foster repeat business.

Customer Relations
– Send thank-you notes and follow up on all catering orders.
– Address customer feedback promptly, ensuring satisfaction and effectively resolving concerns.
– Maintain catering materials and oversee the shop’s delivery trade area.
– Manage house accounts to ensure accurate payments and maintain databases.

Sales and Revenue Growth
– Strive to meet and exceed sales targets; communicate daily with the District Manager regarding sales performance.
– Spearhead targeted outreach and customer correspondence to boost backline sales.
– Respond promptly to catering quote requests via email.
– Monitor sales trends and keep the team informed on performance metrics.

Profitability and Accuracy
– Ensure that all catering orders are accurate prior to delivery.
– Encourage suggestive selling of extras and sides through phone communications and in-store interactions.
– Utilize tools to ensure the correct quantity of products is provided with each order.

Physical Demands
– Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of 4 hours.
– Capability to drive throughout the day to various locations in the Columbus, Ohio area.

Qualifications
