We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Catering Sales Coordinator to oversee and expand our catering and back-line business. This position will be crucial in driving sales, managing orders, and fostering relationships with local businesses and customers.

As the Catering Sales Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for catering sales across multiple Potbelly locations in the Columbus, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in restaurant catering sales and service, managing contracts, and ensuring exceptional customer service. We seek a self-sufficient, high-energy professional who excels at identifying, targeting, and cultivating relationships to promote and secure catering business for our shops. Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Collaborate with Shop Managers to establish sales goals and strategies.
  • Coordinate delivery drivers and backline associates during peak periods.
  • Actively prospect, solicit, qualify, and secure catering business.
  • Accurately produce and/or review catering contracts.
  • Serve as the liaison between customers and the restaurant to guarantee successful catering orders and encourage repeat business.

Customer Relations

  • Express gratitude to customers and follow up on all catering orders.
  • Address customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns effectively.
  • Maintain catering materials and oversee the delivery trade area for the shop.
  • Manage house accounts, ensuring accurate payments and maintaining databases.

Sales and Revenue Growth
