Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home returns.
  • Typical schedule is 4 days, 12 hours per day.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Driver vacation coverage may involve some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing them in designated storage areas at customer locations.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.*
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months of experience specifically in food and/or beverage delivery.
  • Preference for candidates who are able to operate manual transmissions, as this may be required at certain locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English, including the ability to engage in conversations, understand highway signs, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records.
