Schedule:

  • Approximately 85% of driver routes allow for daily home returns.
  • Standard schedule typically consists of four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries are frequently required.
  • Drivers covering for vacations may need to accommodate night routes and overnight stays.

Main Ingredients of the Job:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure appropriate signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout the shift.
  • Comfortability in driving and working in inclement weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Registration in the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months of commercial driving experience specifically in the food and/or beverage delivery industry is required.
  • Preference for candidates with the ability to operate manual transmission; this may be required in select locations.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English, capable of engaging in conversations, understanding highway traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records.
